Metro Station Airport Express line is a dedicated line running between New Delhi railway station to Dwarka Sector-21 via the Airport.
The Airport Express Link is a state-of-the-art Metro corridor that connects the Indira Gandhi International Airport with New Delhi City. Commuters can now zip to the Airport in only 18 minutes, whereas a road journey from the city to the Airport takes at least 45 minutes. This 22.7 kilometre long Metro corridor has completely revolutionized the transport scenario of the city.
Total Number of stations on the line:6 (New Delhi Railway Station - Shivaji Stadium - Dhaula Kuan - Delhi aerocity - Airport - Dwarka Sector- 21).
Baggage check in facility at New Delhi Metro Station and Shivaji Stadium, although baggage is allowed in the trains from all the stations on this line.Parking available at Shivaji Stadium and New Delhi stations.
Passengers getting down from the express link at Dwarka Sector-21 can directly board the train of line 3 (Dwarka Sector-21 to NOIDA city Centre) without changing the platform.
New Delhi Railway Station (NDRU)
The station is conveniently located within a walk able distance opposite New Delhi Railway Station (Ajmeri Gate Entry/Exit). Customers may use the foot over bridge from NDLS to the New Delhi Airport Express Station. The station is also integrated with the existing Metro station. Customers may reach the station through the extensive network of Delhi Metro. { DMRC Network}.
The New Delhi Station which is about 2 Kms. from Connaught Place is the central business district of New Delhi. The New Delhi Railway Station is one of India’s busiest and largest railway stations, handling nearly 4 lakh passengers daily and over 300 trains per day, from 16 platforms.
The NDRU station is an underground station with facilities for check-in and baggage handling. The station has two levels along with a mezzanine floor underground.

•A mezzanine floor is also being planned between the concourse and ground level.
Shivaji Stadium (SJSU)
The station is located at BABA KHARAK SINGH MARG, near HANUMAN MANDIR - a location which is city's business and commercial hub. It is in close vicinity to the Rajiv Chowk Metro station. The Shivaji Stadium station is an underground station with facilities for check-in and baggage handling. The station has two levels along with a mezzanine floor underground:
•Arrival is at the ground level
•Concourse (departure) is at first level underground from the ground level
•Platform is at two levels underground from the ground level
•A mezzanine floor is also being planned between the concourse and ground level.
Dhaula Kuan (DKV)*
The station is at one of the business road transit hub of Delhi, well connected to the adjoining states - Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab. DKV is also well connected to the South, West and East Delhi by an extensive network of Delhi Transport Corporation. This is an elevated station which is located in Dhaula Kuan on National Highway – 8 at a distance of approximately 4 kms. from the Indira Gandhi International Airport. Presently Dhaula Kuan is a junction having major intersection of roads/highways in Delhi. Passing through the intersection are the Ring Road and the National Highway – 8. The Outer Ring Road connects South Delhi to West Delhi.
Delhi Aerocity (DACY)*
Located on the periphery of Delhi at NH8, DACY is a gateway of Delhi for people coming from Gurgaon (Haryana).The station is located near Mahipalpur Chowk. At present, very limited bus service is available to connect Mahipalpur to the IGI Airport. The Airport Express promises to be the fastest and most convenient mode of travel between the Airport and Mahipalpur Chowk.
IGI Airport (APOT)
The station is fully integrated with Terminal 3 at IGI Airport. A passenger may pick up a baggage trolley from the arrival hall of T3 terminal and conveniently walk inside the IGI station. A specially designed passenger passage brings a passenger from T3 terminal of IGI Airport to the Airport Express APOT station in no time.
Dwarka Sector 21 (DSTO)
Dwarka sector 21 station has seamless interchange with DMRC line 3 (Blue-line). It is also the terminating station of Delhi Airport Express. DSTO Station is fully integrated with the Delhi Metro Station, DSTO caters to the whole of East-West Delhi. Passengers may use Delhi Metro's Line3 to reach Dwarka station.

All the six metro stations on the line are known as City Airport Terminals (CATs). They are fitted with state-of-the-art gadgets like explosive detectors, large x-ray baggage scanners, under vehicle scanners, quick reaction teams and dog squads to ensure full security of commuters and baggage alike. All the stations are secured with a network of CCTV cameras which relays live images to the station control room, security control room and operations control centre. The security of the airport line is handled by Central Industrial Security Force who also handles the safety of all the stations of DMRC. All the stations are disabled friendly so that people on wheelchairs can access them with facilities such as stations with ramps having a mild slope leading to elevators, the elevators are specially designed for the convenience of physically challenged people and capable of carrying stretchers, help call points are located at various points of stations and trains so that in case of any emergency, a disabled person can seek help by just pressing the call buttons. The elevators can be used by visually impaired persons with the elevator buttons having Braille letters.
